Enhancement of participants for APACPH-WUHAN Conference (16 July 2013)

  • 45th APACPH Organizing Committee – Dr Chen, Ms Jing Jing
  • KL Secretariat (Executive Officer – Ms. Camelina Chan

Dean Mao and his team raised up the below matter:-

  1. Foreign visitors = 20-30 (max)
  2. Hotel recommendation for visitors
  3. Transportation to Wuhan University – they have people to do voluntary work to assist on travelling to the university for the conference.
  4. Number of participants attending the specific lectures- (2 weeks earlier) to accommodate the lecture room.
  5. List of name and total number of participants – to create Visitor passes 

Prof Walter categories 3 level of hierarchy

  • Category 1: High Leadership people
  • Category 2: Faculties
  • Category 3: Common participants/students

Dean Mao and his team mentioned that the first priority will be Category 1 & 2. For Category 3, he suggested:

  1. Students – participation in workshop. No of participants from 40 can be increased to 80.
  2. University collaborations
  3. Abstract participants – allocated from 85 can be increased to 580
