The Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) would like to congratulate Prof Dr Mohammad Saffree Jeffree on being selected as an Academic Public Health Leadership Institute Scholar! The scholarship offers partial sponsorship of USD4000 for the cost of the programme fee. Prof Dr Mohammad Saffree Jeffree is the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine & Health Science, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
The Academic Public Health Leadership Institute is a 10-month cohort-based leadership development opportunity for deans and directors of schools and programs of public health from around the globe. This leadership development opportunity is specifically designed to enhance the success of deans and directors who have been in their position for five (5) years or less.
APHLI is designed to support and develop individual capacity and leadership competencies to effectively lead and manage academic public health institutions. By participating in APHLI, scholars will be able to:
- Recognize and overcome the challenges of organizational change
- Identify and manage their leadership strengths and weaknesses for increased effectiveness
- Develop clear action plans for leadership challenges and priorities and implement effective strategies
The APACPH is a member of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health.
