Collaborating Centres for Health Promotion (CCHP) was established in August 2017 within APACPH to provide a mutual learning platform for enhancing capacity building and leadership in the field of health promotion.
APACPH CCHP identifies areas to build human capacity in the core competencies of health promotion and aims to strengthen capacity and knowledge of the health promotion workforce in the Asia-Pacific Region by disseminating health promotion principles, strategies, and practices and spreading evidence-based measures. Also, APACPH CCHP provides partnering institutions with training opportunities and technical support, including Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Thailand.
The mission and values of CCPH are to enhance the professionalism and competence of the health promotion workforce in the Asia-Pacific region; to promote and enhance regional research collaboration among partners; and to boost Taiwan’s presence around the globe and establish Taiwan as a leader in the field of health promotion.
